Amaya, an intern in HR, is the creator and host of The Intentional Intern Podcast! During her exploratory senior year, Amaya discovered that she didn't know what she wanted to do--but that wasn't going to stop her from succeeding. She knew she had the potential to succeed in a core value of helping people, and she set on a path to purposefully market herself through that. Since then, Amaya has a) fell in love with HR and b) gained experience in it with major companies like Norfolk Southern, Nintendo of America, and Porsche Cars North America.
Once she realized the communicating her personal purpose could successfully help her gain clarity into her professional goals, she wanted to bring the same opportunity to other students--and the Intentional Intern podcast was born! She created the podcast to answer the infamous question early career students are always asked: "Tell me about yourself." Students with little to no professional experience can use their podcast episode as a unique media form to level the playing field with other candidates by communicating their passion and potential--just like she did.
Since then, a professional segment, "A Students' Declassified Market Supporting Guide" (influenced by the great show Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide) for industry professionals to walk down memory lane and share what they've learned from early career to now.
Tune in to hear how people aim to produce innovative impacts across their industry interests, one experience at a time!
